Selecting responsible enterprises

The index of responsible Estonian businesses was composed for the fourth time, and this process was led by the Responsible Business Forum, Äripäev, EBS Centre for Ethics and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications.

The enterprises that achieved at least 70% of the maximum possible result are given the quality label for a responsible enterprise.

The label has been earned by 30 Estonian organisations, one of them being Viru Keemia Grupp AS, who reached the 13th place in the all-Estonian index.

When composing the index, the four areas were evaluated:

1. Responsible entrepreneurship in strategy;

2. Integration of responsible entrepreneurship principles in the enterprise;

3. Managing activity areas;

4. Evaluating results, accountancy and communications. Referring to additional materials if possible.
