VKG scholarships

The Group supports the best students with scholarships since 2003. With the scholarships, we wish to promote education particularly in the areas of technology and chemistry and motivate successful students. The Group’s annual scholarship fund is €13,100. Applications are submitted via the TalTech Development Fund.

Our scholarships for successful TalTech students:

  • 1 master’s degree scholarship in the amount of €3,000;
  • 2 bachelor’s degree scholarships, each in the amount of €2,000.

 

Our scholarships for successful applied higher education students at the TalTech Virumaa College:

  • 2 scholarships, each in the amount of €2000.

 

TALLINN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT FUND

The statutes of the VKG Gold Scholarship at the TalTech Virumaa College

With its Gold Scholarship, VKG supports the first-year students of the TalTech Virumaa College as follows from the academic year of 2024/2025:

  • VKG awards up to two VKG scholarships to those who graduate from the upper-secondary school with a gold medal.
  • The amount of one scholarship is 1,500 euros a year – 150 euros x 10 calendar months.
  • The scholarship is paid in the first year of studies.

Scholarship applications must be submitted on VKG’s homepage at www.vkg.ee by 15 September at the latest. The state examination certificate and a motivation letter shall be annexed to the application.

 


VKG employee scholarship

Starting from the academic year of 2023/2024, Viru Keemia Grupp is establishing a scholarship for the employees of Viru Keemia Grupp or its subsidiaries who study at the TalTech Virumaa College in the areas of specialisation of chemical technology (applied higher education) and sustainable chemical technologies (master’s studies).

  • The scholarship will be paid after the successful end of every academic year, i.e. upon achieving the credit points required from students of the normal period of study.
  • The amount of the scholarship is 1,000 euros upon completing every academic year.
  • The amount of the scholarship upon graduating in the areas of specialisation of chemical technology (applied higher education) and sustainable chemical technologies (master’s studies) within the normal period of study is 2,000 euros.
