Collective agreement

VKG for the good of its employees

A collective agreement made between employees and administration is an additional initiative of the enterprise in order to support its employees.

A Collective Agreement in the First Estonian Oil Shale Processing Enterprise is made since 1948 between the trade union of chemists and the administration.

The conclusion of each collective agreement is forgone by negotiations between administration and employees of the enterprise by mediation of the trade union. In the course of the talks the employees put forward their requirements, and the management reports which among them are realizable. According to tradition, the collective agreement at VKG secures increase of rates for evening and night work of employees and establishes the order of benefits payment on the occasion of certain family circumstances.

Pursuant to the decision of the management, the collective agreement at VKG is extended over both trade union members and other employees of the company.
