Railway and logistics services
VKG Transport ASThe Logistic and Railway Departaments of VKG Transport AS provide the following services:
– rail tank and gondola car rental;
– rail transport freight forwarding services;
– railway maintenance and repair services.
Our rail car stock includes about 1300 tank and gondola cars. The tanks are intended for light and dark oil products, petrochemical products and chemicals.
We provide domestic and international freight forwarding services.
We carry out running maintenance and repairs of railways. We hold a relevant licence for these operations. Maintenance and repair works are covered by civil liability insurance.
We also provide the service of rail car weighing.
