VKG Energia OÜ

The primary field of activities of VKG Energia is energy industry, with the following activities:

• Electricity production;
• Electricity purchase and sale;
• Supplying industrial enterprises and the city of Kohtla-Järve (Järve district) and partly the consumers in the Kohtla Rural Municipality with district heating and hot water;
• Supplying industrial enterprises with industrial steam.

The energy trading portfolio of VKG Energia is currently 400 GWh. The planned electricity production volume for year 2012 is 280 GWh. The installed electrical capacity of the power plants of VKG Energia is 80 MW. The total heat capacity of the enterprise is 700 MW. The average annual volume of steam sales is 350 GWh. District heating and hot water is being sold for 100 GWh per year.
