VKG Oil AS

The biggest Estonian production enterprise for shale oil and oil shale chemistry. Shale oil and shale gas produced by the plant supply heat to households in Estonia and within Northern countries, fine chemical products produced from oil shale find application in perfumery and cosmetics industry, as well as in production of high-class cars.

VKG Kaevandused OÜ

Ojamaa mine, which belongs to VKG Kaevandus OÜ, is the first new mine to be built in the Republic of Estonia since the country regained its independence. Ojamaa mine is starting its operation in 2012 and should reach its maximum capacity by the end of this year extracting up to 2,5 mln tons oil shale per year.

Viru RMT OÜ

Viru RMT is an enterprise with large experience offering repair and assembly services. The enterprise`s activities include repair and servicing of processing units, production of metal details and constructions and rendering assembly services.

VKG Transport AS

The subsidiary of the concern, VKG Transport AS is one of the biggest Estonian transport companies which renders car and railway logistics services in Estonia and worldwide.

VKG Energia OÜ

VKG Energia supplies with heat residents of Järve town part of the town of Kohtla-Järve, the subsidiaries of VKG concern and neighbour industrial enterprises. The total thermal power of the enterprise is 700 MW, the electric power will grow up to 74 MW by the end of 2010.

The region with over 100 000 residents is supplied with electric power through the lines of VKG Elektrivõrgud
